OUR ADMINISTRATORS
Our volunteers work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that this group functions as intended.
Their duties are endless even though they themselves are Grieving Parents!

OLGA MENDEZ joined our Admin team in May 2018. She a champion to all bereaved parents and is
a true leader. She works from a place of love and respect with a touch of humor in all that she does. Olga supports members on a personal level and is a friend to all. Her life has not been a bed of roses which has shown her to always work from love and compassion. Olga's beautiful daughter, Elisa passed
by suicide and she fights for suicide awareness constantly. She is a Grandmother to Elisa's twin boys
who hold a special place in her heart. You will always find Olga trying to make our members smile
through the tears.
"We are so grateful to have the love and support of this lady available to all in the group!
She is love with no boundaries "

CARMEN HAINES joined our Admin Team in Jan 2021. She has amazing strength
and beautiful spirit that couldn't be broken even with the loss of her daughter.
Her beautiful daughter Jessica passed in October 2007, the shining light of her life.
Even through child-loss she is always there to lend an ear and a shoulder to cry on for
members of this group. Carmen is active in helping plan day to day activities for the
group during her busy life. She finds solace and healing in the desert camping with
friends.
" This group is blessed to have her strength as an example for all of our members. She is always ready to learn new things about the afterlife for we know that our children exist just in different sort of way."

Patricia Clark-Hicks creates all of the events that honor our children on their day of transition to heaven. She also is a PHD psychologist and has helped many of our members with her expertise on coping. Her son Justin passed as a result of an accident with a texting driver in 2012. Then just a few years later she lost her son Kenny in a tragic murder. There is no doubt that her kids led her to VOOA and the kindred spirits that are members. She serves selflessly at all hours of the day or night, assessing the health and well-being of members that need lifting. We are blessed to have her.
"Now that I can help others once again, it helps me heal as well."

JILL NEAL began making graphics as therapy to honor the memory of the kids in the group and her son Kyle. Kyle passed tragically to suicide. It took strength for her to pull herself up and help others in the process. She was referred to Voice of Our Angels through a friend and she knew in her heart, it was meant for her. Jill now finds a funny meme or saying and posts it daily so our members will
have at least one laugh in their day. Humor is her healing method.
"I put a couple of pictures together for other Moms. Seeing their children in the light after I used different templates caused enjoyment for all. With the feedback and encouragement of the other parents, I have enjoyed taking on the role of "picture healer."
